The Kiss, The Tree

the kiss, the tree
how can I be?

the sand, the sky
an ant silhouette

iceberg, lifeboat
mutiny

the blast, the gas
unformed

their eyes, the world
an upturned palm

trust, aerial
for you, at last

the kiss, the rope
working at hope

iceberg, lifeboat
giving it all
