The Book

The book you won’t read
For fear it will control you
Already does so

If you fear the book
That will undo your beliefs
You fear your breath, too

If you read that book
And your worst fears are confirmed
Read again, backwards

Those who will not read
For fear the words become them
Still hold a balloon
