If the present stillness
A plate collecting shame
Focus on the service,
Try another way.

If there is no feeling.
The whipped mind now numb.
When cruelty isn’t working,
Time to try self-love.

There is no guarantee
That peace may reappear.
But if meat hangs on everything,
Try there, instead of here.

This was unimaginable,
The future forecast too.
Keep breaking daily cycles,
Keep trying something new.
