Scrutinise the horizon
Scan up and down the axes
Rest assured, dear traveller
There is nothing beyond forgiveness.
There are places on the way
That some prefer to live.
Every town; a valid home,
But in the last one, you forgive.
Glorified by the born-again
And scorned by those still angry,
Some sell a visit on instant karma
But the locals live their mercy.
Everyone is welcome there
The gate is always open
Testimony might stir your hope
But the love there will awaken.
